Day 3: The Shaanxi History Museum

After our bike ride, we returned to the hotel to check in and shower, before heading out to the Shaanxi History Museum. The museum contains artifacts from China's prehistory all the way to the end of the dynastic period. The older bronzework was amazing, particulary when considering its age, and the newer (relatively speaking) ceramics were also incredible. Here's a few pictures of some of the pieces. Flashes weren't allowed in the museum, so they're pretty dark, but I think the skill and artistry is still evident.
