Moving In!

As of this past Wednesday, January 16th, we've officially been living in the new house!  We both absolutely love it-it's big enough to not be crowded, yet still cozy feeling.  The interior also turned out nicely-we have lots of wood all over the place-cabinets, doors, trim, etc. which looks wonderful.  The animals are getting used to it here as well.  None of them is crazy about the laminate floors (too slippery), but now that we have rugs down all over the place, they are much happier.  We still have some things over at the old house that we need to bring over, but I would guess that ~80% of our stuff is here now (not counting all of the stuff we still have in the old mudroom).  We've also disconnected all of the utilities to the old house, which means no more outrageous heating bills!  Once we have our things over here, we will get rid of the old house.  Matt may decide to save part of it as a job/storage trailer, but we cannot have the old house on the property when we finally close our loan.  I'm hoping we'll be able to keep the mudroom as a storage shed for the time being, but that's it.  

In other exciting news, I've accepted a position with the Montana Department of Revenue as a cartographer in their Bozeman office!
